Female and male dancers are needed for a performance at the concluding gala night for the Hair Expo Australia at the Convention Center at Darling Harbour on Sunday June 13 2010. The style will require technical training (Classical or Contemporary) but will be commercial choreography (Jazz/ Funk styling). If we don’t get enough Newcastle talent to audition I will have to use Sydney dancers and I would just love to promote Newcastle talent. This is a very professional performance, sponsored by Eco hair products. All the information on the Hair Expo is available on the above link to the website. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions I would love to chat about the performance, rehearsal times and dates etc. Any parents requiring information please do not hesitate to call. Wanted to learn Salsa but feeling a bit shy, absolute beginner class for newcomers, learn Salsa ON 2 with Vicki and Brian for those of you who've been curious about this timing. | SPECIAL GUEST FOR LATIN DANCERS **Special guest teacher** for Latin will be Arnaldo, direct from Brazil, he is teaching for 4 weeks on Monday nights at MJ Finnegans. He teaches a combination of Brazillian dance styles with passion and a whole lotta fun. The styles he teaches are a mixture of Zouk, Gafiera and Tango. Don't worry if this sounds like an exotic disease, I promise it is catching, but it's healthy, sexy and alot of fun. Don't miss the opportunity to learn off a latin god!! Rebecca Pollard, who has been learning with Pivot for 4 years and dancing professionally with Atalie for 2 years, is now teaching and choreographing for the Jets Bombers Dance Squad. Bec's energetic dance style and unbelievable passion for what she does has led to a natural progression from dancer to teacher and choreographer. We are getting great feedback about the brilliant job Bec is doing at The Jets. |

Generation Next Hair Show 08 The only hair dresser to cut a model's hair live on stage, Lee wowed the crowd, by cutting a partly shaven, angular design on the model in just 2 minutes, leaving the stage to huge applause as the dancers, Atalie Wilmoth, Rebecca Pollard, Jackie Parker and Sam Campbell all of Newcastle's Pivot Studio, took the stage. |

| BOLLYOOD WORKSHOP Pivot welcomed O'Neil on 27 April for a Bollywood Workshop. Bollywood is a fun, silly over the top style from the world famous Indian Bollywood movies. This style is perfect for all levels, including absolute beginners. O'Neil is a master Bollywood dancer having performed all over Sydney and Newcastle.
